ACT Cleaning and Restoration, LLC was created to help families in Florida that have suffered through a suicide or homicide in their home or property.
During the last two decades, there has been great advancement in scientific research that has increased public awareness in health and safety regarding bio-medical wastes.Any scene that might have certain bodily fluids can pose a great risk to those that are not highly trained in the area of containment, decontaminataion and proper disposal of such potentially hazardous materials.
We are ACT Cleaning and Restoration, LLC, a family business...dedicated not only to the scientific aspect of our job...we fully understand the necessity of making the process as easy as possible for the loved ones. In years past, family members or friends were called upon to help in the process; a traumatic event in itself, both physically and emotionally. We are highly trained technicians who are properly schooled in the area of clean-up and decontamination of these kinds of scenes. We are trained to detect bodily fluids in areas that the general public might not think to look. We use the proper tools and equipment meant for such a detection and decontamination.
In some cases there are areas such as the sub-floor, grout, drywall, baseboards, etc. that are affected. Those areas must be addressed and free from possible contamination. In some instances, portions of those areas must be removed so as to abate any further infiltration. Our staff is licensed for carpentry and repair, as well, so there should be little need for further intrusion on the family or situation during the restoration process.
From the initial consultation through to the homeowner's insurance company and it's handling of the burden...to the actual clean-up and disposal process and finally to the restoration needed...our goal is to respectfully take this burden off the loved ones involved.
